On Thursday November 21st from 6.30pm – 8.30pm, a seminar on Franchising will take place at The Osprey Conference Centre, Osprey Hotel, Naas, Co Kildare.
In order to meet a growing demand for information about franchising the Kildare County Enterprise Board, Ulster Bank and the Irish Franchise Association have come together to host an evening seminar: "Franchising - All you Need To Know....." The Seminar will include talks on what to look for in a franchise, how to franchise a business, and legal and financial issues. There will be presentations from successful franchisors and advice from franchising experts and an opportunity to meet them on a one -to -one basis. Admission is free but places are limited and booking is advisable through Kildare County Enterprise Board. Franchising has become part of the fabric of our everyday lives, providing us with an increasing array of familiar products and services. Franchised businesses are every where in Ireland. Most of our interactions in daily life are facilitated by franchises, be it our favourite cup of coffee, our quick bite to eat, even buying or selling a house.
The Irish Franchise Association, which supports more than 40,000 jobs in the franchise sector, reports that the industry remains strong and is expected to flourish as a result of more than 300 franchise propositions in Ireland, coupled with signs that bank loans are likely to become more easily available this year. Over the past 20 years Franchising has become an integral part of Irish life. This is reflected in the increasing flow of enquiries that the Irish Franchise Association receives seeking information in purchasing a Franchise or how to develop an existing business through franchising.
