Entries should be received no later than 5pm March 27th 2017.
Entries for the awards may be submitted in more than one category and the judging panel reserves the right to consider any entry in a category other than that for which it was entered.
The Best Emerging Franchise Award is open to a franchisor who has established a new Irish franchise system in the last 3 years which is considered to have good potential for development.
In the category of Best Franchise System & Business Practice (ongoing support, operations manual), financial data is not required. Please enter the words ‘Not Applicable’ in the fields below. However, Operations Manuals will be required from short listed candidates to be reviewed by judges.
The ‘Best Supplier or Support to the Franchise Sector’ Category is open to all companies offering services and support to the sector such as professional services, consultants, contractors, vehicles, promotional materials, POS Systems, exhibition services etc
The Best Pilot Franchise System is open to applicants who have yet to franchise their business but have prepared the required collateral that satisfies the Irish Franchise Association’s criteria for a listing in our Provisional Membership category, namely: - an ethical and fair franchise contract, - a comprehensive operations manual to support the franchise concept including a training curriculum, - Proof of financial viability of the model to be franchised
The judges will evaluate each entry based on its merit and franchising success. If the members of the judging panel are of the opinion that insufficient entries or a sufficiently high standard of entry has not been attained in any of the categories, the award in that category will be withheld.
Entries must be submitted online and can be submitted by franchisors, franchisees or related consultants.
The number of entries per franchise is not limited.
When entries are complete, candidates should review their entry before submitting and will receive a confirmation email when the entry is submitted. Entrants are advised to save answers in a separate document such as word or excel and then paste into the required fields in the online entry.
All submissions will become the property of the organisers and will not be returned.
The decision of the judges will be final and the organisers will not enter into discussion or correspondence in respect of any result.
Canvassing of judges will result in disqualification.
Material circulated to the judges will be confidential and will not be circulated beyond the judging panel.
At the end of the judging process, all material will be destroyed/deleted.
Submissions are adjudicated by an impartial Judging Panel independent of the Irish Franchise Association
