The Irish Franchise Association Gala Evening and Awards is the single largest event for the franchising community in Ireland. The Awards recognise all that is great and about franchising, and the people who make it a success.
Winners are identified through our established independent adjudication panel, chaired by Mr. Bobby Kerr. The event provides all entrants and attendees with an excellent networking opportunity and to be recognised amongst their peers for excellence in franchising.
Focus Ireland works with people who are homeless or at risk of losing their homes across Ireland. We are driven by the fundamental belief that homelessness is wrong. Wrong because it is a failure of society that creates victims out of ordinary people and robs them of their potential. Wrong because it can be prevented and solved but is allowed to continue, thereby undermining our society. Since 1985, Focus Ireland have been the leaders in tackling the root causes of homelessness and we have a history of delivering innovative long-term solutions.
Ireland has been experiencing a housing crisis for more than a decade. Due to the severity of the crisis, the Irish State has been forced to provide emergency responses and accommodation rather than delivering long-term solutions. While this is understandable – it is not a permanent or sustainable solution. At Focus Ireland, we seek to solve this crisis and not just manage it.
Focus Ireland’s work is driven by two key pillars; prevention and sustained exits. We know that preventative strategies are a cost-effective and socially progressive approach to breaking the cycle of homelessness. While also working to ensure that those who exit homelessness do so for good, through the provision of homes and the wrap-around services to sustain their new homes.
These two pillars of our work, are underpinned by an ambitious property acquisition plan, which ensures homes are available to those who need them the most. Focus Ireland has 90 services across Ireland tailored to the individual needs of our customers, with offices located in Dublin, Kildare, Cork, Limerick, Waterford, Wexford, Kilkenny, Sligo and Carlow and provides outreach services to all other parts of the country. Your support helps us to continue this important work.
