NEW Guinot Franchise Salon opens in Rathfarnham

On 6th February, residents of Rathfarnham and the surrounding areas joined Gemma Kinahan to celebrate the official opening of their Guinot franchise in Rathfarnham.

The event was a huge success with Gemma being joined by her family, the Guinot Franchise team, with Gemma taking on the role to cut the ribbon and officially open the new salon. Gemma, friends, family and existing clientele all turned out to show their support and celebrate the opening. The Guinot team were well represented with Managing Director of Guinot UK & Ireland, Myriam Welsh, Franchise Manager, Ellie Tidy QFP, Franchise Development Manager, Angela Miller QFP, Business Development Manager Caroline McKenna and Franchise Marketing Coordinator, Shelby Myers, on hand to showcase their support.

On the night, beauty loving guests were treated to drinks along with delicious sweet treats and enjoyed complimentary skin consultations from the salon team, performed by the Guinot Rathfarnham team. The first 100 guests took home an exclusive goody bag worth over €40, along with all clients hoping to claim a extravagant hamper worth over €300, brimming with gorgeous skincare goodies from the French skincare brand.

The state-of-the-art Salon, previously known as NuU Beauty & Nail Bar is a truly fabulous addition to Rathfarnham, and features 3 luxurious treatment rooms, showcasing the clean lines and classic red and white colour scheme associated with Guinot. The salon offers all of Guinot’s face and body treatments, including the iconic Hydradermie Cellular Energy facial, and carries the full Guinot product range, allowing clients to trial and buy products prescribed specifically for them by their Guinot ‘beauty doctor’. The Salon also offers hair removal, massages, manicures and pedicures.

Embracing in an evening of celebrations was the new franchisee, Gemma who initially opened the Salon at the end of January , having previously owned and operated Nu U Beauty, speaking after the event, Gemma said:

“I’m so excited to begin this new chapter! Our salon has been part of the local community for so long, and relaunching as part of the Guinot family is truly a dream come true. Guinot is a leader in skin health, and being able to bring that level of expertise and quality to our clients means everything to me. I’m incredibly grateful for the support and can’t wait for everyone to experience these amazing treatments. This feels like the start of something truly special.”

GUINOT TREATMENTS

Guinot Rathfarnham offers the very latest innovations in non-invasive face and body treatments, including Guinot’s star Hydradermie Youth facial and the Advanced techniSPA slimming and firming body treatments.

Guinot came to the UK from France 50 years ago. Their customised rehydrating and regenerating Hydradermie Youth facial which uses dynamic ionisation and oxygenation, remains their signature treatment (€95, 1 hour). There is also the best-selling Hydradermie Lift (€101, 1 hour) which uses a stimulating microcurrent to ‘exercise’ the muscles on the face, neck and jawline to lift, firm and tone. Other treatments include the express deep-cleansing Hydraclean facial (€40, 30 minutes), manual facials, hair removal, slimming and contouring body treatments, as well as Shellac manicures and pedicures.

Card Connection looks to the future There’s been significant change in the leadership team at Card Connection recently. Managing Director Michael Johnson has left the business after 22 Years, with Sales Director Graham Staff stepping up to be the new MD. “It’s an exciting time for Card Connection. As an established business model with years of great process and procedure in place, it’s important for us to not only maintain what’s working well, but also find ways to simplify and improve what we do and how we can further support our franchisees and customers.” “I’m looking forward to helping us build on the success we have had in the past few years.” Graham’s empty post had been filled by Matthew Heathcock, who joins Card Connection with a wealth of sales experience across several previous roles. As Sales Director, Matthew joins the Card Connection senior team, alongside Graham and Creative Director Kelly Courtenay. In his first weeks in the job, Matthew has been very impressed with what he’s seen. “With the experience and passion across the team here in Farnham and our terrific franchisee partners, I’m certain we can find plenty of opportunities to grow the business further and I’m looking forward to being part of that”. Whatever challenges the future may bring, this greeting card franchisor’s new management structure is well-set to face them with confidence.
